Baby Stuart Update February 22nd:
We’re at 40 Weeks and
4 days and counting….., relaxing and enjoying time at home. A very good
friend reminded me this morning that today might be the last day to
enjoy Lily as an only child and to savor the day. We took the advice and
enjoyed spending some time at home together as a family. Tim was able to
stay part of the morning with us before heading off to the office for
the rest of the day. Though it would be nice to take an extended outing,
we stay within a 15 minute radius of our home just in case. With being
home so much, playtime at our house has become interesting. Lily likes
to play her electronic keyboard and dance around. She likes to encourage
the baby and myself to join her. While playing her favorite tune she
shouted out, “Come on Mom! Show me your moves!” She is going to be a
wonderful sister or a Broadway choreographer. Life is going to become
even more interesting when baby arrives.
Thanks to everyone for
their emails of reassurance, thoughtful words of encouragement and
joyful anticipation for our baby. We’re one day closer everyday!
